What? Fire index extreme?

Looked at the weather station yesterday and noticed that something off….

It took me a few blinks of the old lazy eyes to figure out what was going on. Colors are more recognisable than words, and a big red dot causes some conserns.

Looking at the value, it is only 16.6, which is low not extreme… time to have a look at the code.

See “Houston” there is your problem…. the formula is “<=14” and “>=35” those are the bands of fire weather indicators… in this case everything between 14 and 35 was excluded due to a silly typo. Fixed that now.
