Psychology of Social Media
Do you understand the psychology of social media? Do you have the mindsets and frameworks to make it work for your business? Would you like some tangible tips on making your social media more efficient and effective?
At this event Samford local, Kate vanderVoort, will share her 15 years experience in digital marketing and social media strategy. Come along and bring your biggest social media challenges for an engaging discussion. Walk away with knowledge you can implement straight away in your business.
Kate originally trained as a social worker but quickly figured out that she had a mind and passion for strategy and development. This thirst for finding a better, more effective, more impactful way of connecting people to the things they care about, led her to senior leadership roles within the events industry and the not-for-profit sector. Kate has been CEO of Discovery Australia, General Manager of the Quest for Life Foundation and Chair of the goodcompany Board. In 2009 she founded a thriving social media company, Social Mediology, specialising in social media coaching, training, strategy and management for business and not-for-profits. In 2016 Kate created Take10 Social; an online learning community where people can learn how to use social media strategically for business, in 10 minute snaps.
Kate has trained with some of the best social media strategists and technicians in the USA and speaks regularly at conferences, events and in-house training sessions. She is one of Australia’s leading social media coaches and has worked with thousands of corporates, businesses and charities in Australia on strategy, implementation, campaign development, customer service and skills based training. Kate is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course and is a founding Board member for the Moreton Technology Alliance.
