Welcome to the Conscious Dance Movement where people are coming together as a collective to inspire one another, grow together, create community, support those in need and be part of the change we want to see in the world.

7:00 pm Opening circle

Commencing at 7pm we will gather and open the circle with a raw cacao ceremony so please arrive 10-15min earlier before the start time. Why Raw Cacao? Raw Cacao contains a natural “bliss” chemical called ‘anandamide’ which is responsible for the feeling of joy, happiness and pleasure upon eating or drinking it. Cacao also contains an alkaloid called Theobromine which improves focus and clarity, sharpening the mind and assisting us to experience higher states of awareness. A wonderful complement which facilitates the Samsara Yoga Dance experience.

7:30- 9:30 pm Yoga Dance

Yoga Dance is a free-form practice which encourages us to dance our authentic self and find creative ways to explore movement. Using the elements as a map for exploring movement through different rhythms and music from around the world, the elemental journey unlocks our potential and allows us to let go of our ego, shed our fears & insecurities, in order to liberate us into a place of joy, peace and clarity. There are no steps to follow and no choreography to remember, and this is a practice for everyone. No dance experience necessary.

9:30pm Closing Circle

Everyone is welcome, women and men of all ages and backgrounds. No dance, yoga or art experience necessary. Come as you are, with an open heart and mind.

NOTE: This is a drug free, alcohol free and non-smoking event.

Water and wear comfortable clothing, a shawl/jumper during the relax/meditation.
