Brockhurst Farm set on 22 acres of rolling hills, perched high on a mountain with spectacular mountain and rural views with Brisbane city pictured in the distance.

Located on the D’aguilar ranges behind the historic town of Dayboro.  At night the stars are bright and the Brisbane city lights twinkle in the distance, by day swim in our spring fed dam or relax and enjoy the farm animals and wildlife in their natural surroundings.

In winter you can curl up in front of your cozy log fire and watch the mountain mist roll in.  We can accommodate in total 24 people in 4 self- contained cabins.

Four fully self-contained cabins can accommodate total 24 people.  Brockhurst Farm is set on 22 acres of rolling hills, 1 hour NW from Brisbane and only 14kms from Dayboro.  It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway; self-catered wedding venue/function for up to 80 people; hire the whole place for your family get-together.  Children and well-behaved dogs welcome. There are special overnight rates for tradesmen mid-week.

To help you find us, we included some driving directions for you.

From Brisbane & Brisbane Airport.

  1. Head north from Brisbane on Bruce Highway towards Sunshine Coast.
  2. Turn left onto Dohles Rocks Rd, follow for about three mins until you reach Anzac Ave.
  3. Turn left onto Anzac Ave follow for about three mins until you reach Petrie Roundabout.
  4. Turn right onto Dayboro Rd at the roundabout, follow for 15mins to Dayboro.
  5. Turn right onto Mt Mee Rd, follow for 15mins, Brockhurst Farm is on the left.

From Sunshine Coast.

  1. Follow Bruce Highway south, turn off at the Caboolture exit. Go west through Caboolture and head for D’Aguilar on the D’Aguilar Highway.
  2. Once at D’ Aguilar turn left onto Mt Mee Rd. Follow Mt Mee Rd, for 22 Kms, Brockhurst Farm is on the right.

From Gold Coast

  1. Head North to Brisbane on the M1 Motorway.
  2. Turn left off Motorway on to exit 16 to go onto Gateway Motorway,
  3. And then on to Gateway Bridge (Toll bridge), then drive over Gateway Bridge.
  4. Head north from Gateway Bridge along Sunshine motorway, and onto Bruce H’way towards the Sunshine Coast.
  5. Turn left onto Dohles Rocks Rd follow for about three mins until you reach Anzac Ave.
  6. Turn left onto Anzac Ave follow for about three mins until you reach Petrie Roundabout
  7. Turn right onto Dayboro Rd at the roundabout, follow for 15mins to Dayboro.
  8. Turn right onto Mt Mee Rd, follow for 15mins, Brockhurst Farm is on the left.

From Brisbane’s Western suburbs

  1. From Alderley follow Samford Rd
  2. Continue through Ferny Grove and “up over the range” until you reach the roundabout at Samford.
  3. Turn right onto Main St, Samford and follow the scenic road for 23 km (20mins) past Lake Samsonvale until you reach Dayboro.
  4. Turn right onto Williams St and then turn left onto Mt Mee Rd, follow for 15 mins, Brockhurst Farm is on the left.

Weddings

Farm Wedding – If your dream is to be married in a beautiful country wedding venue, look no further. Brockhurst Farm is the perfect place for your farm wedding. We offer self-catered weddings at the Farm and also accommodation. We have 4 cosy cabins where the bride and groom, family and guests can stay. And we are only 1 hour from Brisbane so you can enjoy all the atmosphere of a farm wedding without your guests having to travel too far.

Farm Stay

All ages can come up at a pre-arranged time and feed and pat the farm animals, collect the eggs, maybe milk the cow. Unlimited use of the dam for swimming or rafting (raft supplied). Farm activities can change without notice. (Weather permitting or seasonal). Feeding Horses: You can feed horses over the cabin fence. A bag of carrots can be found in the cabin fridge (when in season) but if not you can feed them bread or cut up apple.
