Misty Range Alpacas & Accommodation
Steve and I (Glenys) from Misty Range Alpacas accom. are pleased and proud to offer a luxury unit which boasts breathtaking 180 degree views taking in the Glasshouse Mountains, ocean views and surrounding areas to Moreton Island just an hour’s drive from Brisbane and located in a serene bushland area.
It is our aim to make guests feel comfortable and we like to share the breathtaking views – it’s not something most people see every day.
Our interaction with guests
A Welcome Pack will also be available on arrival with further relevant information. As we are retired, we are usually around the property and we would be available to answer questions you may have, in particular, advice on traveling around the area.
Misty Range Alpacas accom. offers 1 Bedroom with 1 Queen bed & 1 Couch in the lounge room with a Double pull-out bed.
The accommodation we offer is a modern, luxurious, self-contained one bedroom unit.
The fully functional kitchen comes with quality appliances including microwave, 4x hotplates (cooking), coffee machine and full-size fridge along with all expected necessities for short or long term use such as saucepans, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
The lounge room is a spacious comfortable living area with a HD 55″ Sony Bravia TV (wow!). The TV has free-to-air channels and Foxtel (see Welcome Pack on arrival). Also provided is a DVD player with a small selection of DVDs in drawer.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with large walk-in-robe which has a full-length mirror. The bedroom also has an ensuite.
The lounge and bedroom both have glass sliding doors so you can lay in bed and still see the amazing view or wake up to a “magical sunrise” (as described by one of our wonderful guests), as you can, from all areas of the unit.
Speaking of views, you can enjoy the most remarkable views you will ever experience while sitting on the deck. When the sun goes down, you will see the view transform into a glitterati of lights, resembling a fairyland from all of the cities below.
A vehicle is essential as the nearest store is a 15 minute drive, but don’t worry, tea and coffee will be provided, including milk and sugar. Parking is available on the property. Access is via the paved stairs leading down to the unit.
You are welcome to walk around the gardens and perhaps, visit the alpacas. With bushland all around there is an abundance of bird life.
